MATERIA VIVA

Materia Viva is the liason between Bosetti Marella and the Artist, Giuseppe Lorenzi: between who let the handles become an artistic work and who, with his art, is able to express unique emotions.

To realize this collection, Lorenzi offers his ability and passion for Raku, an antique technique born in XVII° century in Japan: There, a wise master saw, in the ability of a man cooking a lot of tiles, the beauty of unique effects; the master was so fascinated by these effects that asked the man to create, using the same "art", small bowls he could use during the "tea ceremonies".
The Artist Lorenzi, creates his works in the same way: hand making each piece and matching the human spirit with the natural elements.
Each handle is Materia Viva, a place where the harmony of this liaison lives, where the hand of the artist speaks with the Earth, Fire, Air and Water. Creating Raku means that, every time, you are in tune with simplicity. Materia Viva collection, embodies the harmony between the artist and, his environment and his work.
